ごく普通の通院日。
朝から携帯の調子が悪い。充電がうまくできない。充電を諦めて病院へ向かう。
園は時間に到達するが会計あたりが混んでいる。どうやら会計システムが故障しているようだ。「太陽フレアが普段の。。。」とケースワーカーがつぶやいた。
午前中には診察はないと判断し昼食へ出かける。今日はスシローだ。食事を済ませ会計を済まそうと自動精算機に現金を投入するが通らない。「レジの故障で。。。」今日は故障続きだな。とタバコを吸う。
携帯ショップで携帯を見てもらったが直らず、病院に戻ると、患者はおらず職員がせわしなく歩いていた。診察室に向かうと医師はいきなり入院を迫ってきた。強制入院などの言葉が並んだが園の耳には届かなかった。いきなり5、6人の看護師に囲まれる。ここで園は戦意喪失連行される。
看護師の中には見知った顔もあった。
「おう山さん。3本線がなくなっているようだが。。。」
